The Tour :

All the adventures you can take in – from dolphin-watching to climbing Adam’s Peak mountain, hiking to Ella Rock, Little Adam’s Peak and 09-arch bridge in Demodara, trekking to Waraka-Ara waterfall and Horton Plains, mountain-biking to Ellewala Falls, whitewater rafting in Kitulgala, scenic train ride to Nuwara Eliya, safari in Wilpattu Park and much more.

Best For :

For outdoor fans seeking Adrenalin-packed adventures, nature lovers, young couples. Recommended age: from teenagers to physically fit senior citizens.

Strenuousness :

Advanced.

When to go :

Between November to April. December to May is the mountain-climbing season for Adam’s Peak (not to be confused with Little Adam’s Peak in Ella, although we do both in this itinerary). The shrine at the summit is closed for the rest of the year and heavy showers shroud this area for a few months in a row. The rainwater gushing down the mountain is strong enough to easily knock you off your feet. If you are a hardcore adventure seeker, probably off season is definitely something you would want to try out! Apart from Adam’s Peak and the dolphin-watching in Kalpitiya, the rest of the tour is doable throughout the year.

Wheelchair Accessibility :

Inaccessible.
