Sight : Galle Fort Tour

Explore the magnificent Dutch Fort of Galle, one of the best preserved colonial sea forts in Asia. Take a stroll down its cobbled narrow streets and along ramparts up to the lighthouse. The streets and alleys here ooze charm. The National Maritime Museum, which occupies a 17th century Dutch warehouse, showcases an interesting collection of marine artifacts discovered during underwater expeditions in shipwrecks along the southern coast. Among other historic landmarks within the fort is the reputedly oldest breadfruit tree in the island.

Sight : Mask Museum of Ambalangoda

Ambalangoda is a southern coastal town just an hour’s journey from Galle. It has been known for ages for its indigenous devil dances and mask carving. Explore the vibrant mask museum in Ambalangoda. At the workshop by the museum, guests can witness how masks are hand-carved.

Sight : Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda

Visit a turtle hatchery on the beach strip of Kosgoda, where turtle eggs collected from the fishermen are incubated over a period of time before setting free to the ocean.
Sight : Hollow Dagoba of Kalutara
Tour the imposing hollow dagoba of Kalutara temple. The echoey dome is 03-storey high and the murals on the inner walls depict incidents from numerous previous lives of the Lord Buddha.
