Embark on your Sri Lanka Ramayana Tour with a drive to Munneswaram Kovil in Chilaw, where Lord Shiva is believed to have come to Lord Rama’s aid to deliver him from Brahmahathi Dosham – the curse for slaying a Brahmin, as King Ravana was one. Presently, Munneswaram is mainly associated with Kali Ma. Later on, visit the Manavari Ramalingam Sivan Temple in Bangadeniya. In fulfilling a vow made to Lord Shiva, Lord Rama is believed to have installed a gold lingam in this shrine, which exists to this day. After performing your veneration rituals, you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight.
